URGENT REMINDER: Water conservation in effect for Kaua’i

LĪHUʻE – The Department of Kauai (DOW) reminds its customers of the island wide water conservation notice. Water pumps are running on powered generators. To avoid a total water service shutdown DOW urges its customers to limit water to essential needs only, including cooking, drinking, personal hygiene, laundry, and sanitation. Water conservation measures include turning off fixtures and equipment that automatically draw water, such as ice machines and irrigation systems.
This notice will remain active until the conservation notice is lifted.
