9:00 p.m. (FINAL UPDATE) – Water service has been restored. The scheduled shutdown that was set to begin at 9:30 p.m. has been canceled due to the repair work being completed and water service restored. DOW crews were able to finish the repairs with reduced impact to the affected customers prior to 9:30 p.m. All affected customers have been notified. Mahalo!

6:00 p.m. (UPDATE) – As DOW crews prepare for the 9:30 p.m. water service shutdown on Lāwaʻi Road, please slow down and be advised of possible lane shifts due to the narrow road conditions in this area. The affected area is on a portion of Lāwaʻi Road, between the Beach House Restaurant and Hoona Road. The shutdown is expected to affect customers on the ocean side of Lāwaʻi Road.

3:00 p.m. 02-20-2026 POIPU – An emergency water service shutdown is scheduled to begin tonight at 9:30 p.m. on a portion of Lāwaʻi Road, from the Beach House Restaurant to Hoona Road, for approximately 3 to 4 hours. DOW will be repairing the mainline.

Please be advised that due to the nature of water main leaks, an emergency shutdown may occur at any time if the leak worsens. The Beach House Restaurant and Kuhio Shores have been notified.
