1:00 p.m. 03-08-2026 KAPA’A – Emergency water service shutdown on both sides of a portion of Kūhiō Highway (between Uhelekawawa Bridge and Aleka Loop), including Waipouli Town Center, from 1:15 p.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. A break in the mainline has caused low pressure in the area.

A partial lane closure and lane shift will be in effect at the intersection of Waipouli Town Center to allow DOW crews to repair the line. To enter or exit the Waipouli Town Center, motorists should use Pouli Road (near the Kapa’a Fire Station).
