11:15 a.m. – (FINAL UPDATE) DOW crews have completed the repairs and are preparing to restore water service. Once the valves are turned on, crews will be flushing the lines through open hydrants to remove any air or sediments in the system. Mahalo for your patience.

9 a.m. 01-19-2026 KALĀHEO – Emergency water service shutdown on the upper portion of Kua Road, for approximately 3 hours. DOW received reports of a loss of water service in the area. DOW plant electricians are currently troubleshooting the tank, at the same time field crews have located a leak in the water line.
