5:55 a.m. (FINAL UPDATE) – Water line repair work has been completed, and water service has been restored. DOW crews are currently flushing the system through an open hydrant. DOW crews will remain on the scene to do road repair work. If you are experiencing a water service outage, please call 808-245-5444, between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

5:30 a.m. (UPDATE) – Portions of Weke Road, in the vicinity of Anae Road is also affected.

4:30 a.m. 05-29-2026 HANALEI – Emergency water service shutdown on a section of Kuhio Highway (between Malolo Road and Aku Road), for approximately 3 hours. DOW crews are repairing two water lines that were struck by a contractor.
