UPDATE – Emergency one-lane northbound closure on Kuhio Highway near Papaloa Road Aug. 31

1:20 p.m. 08-31-2026 – (UPDATE) The one-lane road closure is expected to remain in effect until 7 p.m.

KAPAʻA – The Department of Water (DOW) is announcing an emergency one-lane north bound road closure on a portion of Kuhio Highway near the intersection of Kuhio Highway and Papaloa Road for approximately 8 hours due to a mainline break.
