KAPAʻA – Portion of Kūhiō Highway

6:20 p.m. (UPDATE) – Water service has been restored. DOW crews are patching the road. Drive with extreme caution through the area.

10:00 a.m. KAPAʻA – At 2:00 p.m. today, water service will be turned off on Kūhiō Hwy. between Aleka Loop and Kenji Burger for approximately 3-4 hours. DOW crews will be working on an emergency repair job on the main water line.

During the repair, a one-lane closure will be in effect in both directions of Kūhiō Highway. For the safety of DOW crews, please pay attention to traffic cones and drive with extreme caution through the area.
