Water conservation notice issued for Princeville, Kalihiwai Bay Estates, and Anini Road

PRINCEVILLE – Princeville Utilities Co., Inc. (PUCI) has issued a water conservation notice for all customers. The request also includes Department of Water (DOW) customers located on a portion of Kuhio Highway, near Hanalei Plantation Road, in Princeville, Kalihiwai Bay Estates (located on Kalihiwai Valley Road), and Anini Road.

PUCI and DOW customers have been issued a precautionary measure to conserve water due to the expected severe weather conditions through the weekend. Customers are asked to limit water use to essential uses only such as drinking, cooking, laundry and sanitation purposes until further notice.

PUCI intends to maintain water services to all customers. PUCI’s water conservation notice was implemented to avoid a water outage. Customers are reminded that severe weather conditions such as high winds and flooding have caused power outages.
An update will be provided when the conservation notice is lifted.
