April 3, UPDATE: Road work continues along Weke Road for April 6-30 

HANALEI – The Department of Water (DOW) and contractor Koga Engineering & Construction Inc., will continue to conduct road work on Weke Road in Hanalei, from ‘Anae Road, to Mālolo Road, April 6 to 30, 2026.  Work will take place on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. 

The road work is necessary for the installation of a water line on Weke Road, part of the Hanalei Water Line Improvements Project.  The project will upgrade the water main infrastructure to meet current water system standards, including existing fire flow requirements. 

Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area. Follow the directions of flaggers and adhere to posted signs.
