Overnight water service shutdown on a portion of Umi Street on September 2-3

LĪHUʻĒ – The Department of Water (DOW) announces an overnight water service shutdown on a portion of Umi Street on Wednesday, September 2 starting at 8 p.m. to Thursday, September 3 ending at 4 a.m. The affected area includes a portion of Umi Street from the roundabout to Rice Street.

The water service shutdown is necessary for the contractor to install a new waterline.

Customers located in the affected area are advised to prepare by taking the following steps:

– Store enough water to meet your needs.

– Ensure water heaters do not empty.

– Avoid using appliances that require water during the shutdown.
