June 25, UPDATE: Hanalei and ʻAnini water conservation request 

HANALEI AND ʻANINI – The Department of Water (DOW) reminds customers in the Hanalei community and ʻAnini Beach areas, that a water conservation request remains in effect. Please limit water use as much as possible. Water conservation measures include turning off appliances and fixtures that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigation systems, as well as refraining from washing cars. 

DOW is pleased to announce that work has commenced on the repair and replacement of equipment for the multi-decade pump at the Maka Ridge Well in Hanalei, which has been out of service since April 4, 2025.   

DOW appreciates customers for their ongoing conservation efforts and cooperation.
