Temporary low water pressure affects a portion of Anahola

ANAHOLA – The Department of Water (DOW) is aware that customers on Hui Road and Kalalea View Drive are experiencing intermittently low water pressure due to the recent emergency water service shutdown that occurred last Friday near the Anahola Bridge. Temporary water service for the affected customers is being provided through the Department’s emergency interconnect with the Department of Hawaiian Homelands (DHHL) until final repairs can be completed.

DOW is currently awaiting delivery of required repair parts, which are expected to arrive later this week. Repair work will resume once the parts are received, and crews will complete the repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

The previous shutdown was necessary after a leak was discovered on the 12-inch mainline.

During this period of low pressure, affected customers are encouraged to conserve water and plan accordingly to avoid peak usage hours. DOW appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while repairs are completed.
