Kapaʻa Town one-lane road closures for emergency water service repair on August 11

KAPA‘A – A one‑lane southbound road closure is in effect on a portion of Kūhiō Highway between Uhelekawawa Canal Bridge and Hoi Road, in the vicinity of Safeway and Ross Dress for Less. The Department of Water (DOW) is performing emergency repairs to a water line due to a break in the line.

Traffic Advisory

• Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time.

• Traffic control personnel and flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic and help maintain safe passage through the area.
