KŌLOA – The 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. test shutdown has been rescheduled. The Department of Water (DOW) will now conduct an overnight test shutdown from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 30 to 2 a.m. Friday, July 31, weather permitting.

KŌLOA – The Department of Water (DOW) will conduct a test shutdown on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., weather permitting. Affected areas include Old Mill Place, Makai Road, Smith Road, Malino Road, a portion of Koloa Road, and the upper portion of Poipu Road.

The test shutdown will help further evaluate the system and identify any improvements needed before a future shutdown is scheduled for water line improvements.

Customers located in the affected areas are advised to prepare by taking the following steps:

• Store enough water to meet your needs.
• Notify family, friends, tenants, and neighbors.
• Ensure water heaters do not empty.
• Avoid using appliances that require water during the test shutdown.
