Department of Water closing early for parking lot construction on February 13

LĪHUʻE – The Department of Water (DOW) will close at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, to allow parking lot construction and concrete work. During this time, there will be no access to the DOW parking lot at 4398 Pua Loke Street in Līhuʻe, including the bill payment drop box.

In observance of President’s Day, DOW will also be closed on Monday, February 16. Regular hours of operation will resume the following day, Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Payments:

• Payments can still be made through our online customer portal at https://www.kauaiwater.org, by mail, or walk-in.      
• Payments may also be made at the Līhu‘e Walmart Customer Service desk during their business hours.  I.D. is required and only the account holder may utilize this service.  Walmart charges a $1.99 fee per transaction.
