Kawaihau Road Utility Work – Notice to Motorists, Pedestrians & Residents

KAPAʻA – Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co., under contract with the Department of Water, will be conducting utility work and excavation along Kawaihau Road. Please refer to the highlighted map for the specific work zone.

  • Dates: October 29, 2025 – December 22, 2025
  • Location: Kawaihau Road, from Kaapuni Road to Kapahi Road
  • Work Hours: Weekdays only, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Traffic Advisory:

  • Road closures will occur on weekdays only.
  • No parking in the designated work zones.
  • One-lane closures will be in effect; access to properties will be provided.
  • Please obey all posted signs, traffic controls, and flaggers.
  • Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time.

Every effort will be made to complete this project efficiently and with minimal disruption.  We appreciate your patience and support as we work to improve the water system in your community.
