7/5/25 (FINAL UPDATE) HANALEI AND ʻANINI – The Department of Water (DOW) has lifted the water conservation request for Hanalei and ʻAnini Beach customers as of approximately 11:45 a.m. this morning.  Customers may now resume normal water usage.

July 2, UPDATE: Hanalei and ʻAnini water conservation request

7/2/25 HANALEI AND ʻANINI – The Department of Water (DOW) reminds customers in the Hanalei community and ʻAnini Beach areas that a water conservation request remains in effect due to the April 4, 2025, pump failure at the Maka Ridge Well in Hanalei.  While a contractor is working on the repairs, we kindly request that customers continue to limit their water usage as much as possible. Water conservation measures include turning off appliances and fixtures that automatically draw water, such as ice machines and irrigation systems, as well as refraining from washing cars. An update will be provided when the conservation request is lifted.
