KALĀHEO  – The Kaua’i Department of Water announces a water conservation request for residents on the entire makai (ocean) side of Kaumuali’i Highway in the town of Kalāheo, until further notice. This request follows a recent main line break, which has caused ongoing challenges in fully restoring water service.

Customers are advised to limit water use to essential needs only to avoid a full water service outage.  Water conservation measures include turning off appliances and fixtures that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigation systems and refraining from car washing.
